I saw this license plate in the Wendy's drive-thru while I was picking up lunch.
This got me to thinking about Dudeism and the path I'm on. Seeing this on a Pathfinder would have been some kind of irony. It was a Jeep.
I went to a funeral for a friend last week. I'm not in a funk, or maybe I am, but I have been mired in introspection since then.
She was a lovely woman. Caring. Compassionate. A Dudeist if I ever met one. She's gone now. Her pain and suffering are over. Now there's a void.
I guess the best way for me to fill that void is to step up. To be more caring. To be more compassionate. To be a better Dudeist.

Thinking about this, really breaking it down, abide is pretty prefect as a word. It's the whole Yoda "do or do not" all wrapped up in a single word. 1) accept. 2) be unable to tolerate. 3) continue without fading or being lost.
